On July 20th, community members Terry Burnsed, Arnie Carter, Yoselin Corrales, and El were arrested while protesting against ICE violence and detention center neglect outside of the ICE Field Office in Centennial, Colorado. This was shortly after news broke about a tuberculosis outbreak within the Aurora GEO Detention Center and after another protestor had been shot outside the facility by a GEO Group staff. The conditions within the Aurora GEO Facility are despicable and our community will continue to fight back until it’s shut down!
These brave organizers now face state and federal charges for exercising their right to protesting peacefully. We are collecting funds to support possible legal fees!
